ICTP-SAIFR Science Journalism Fellowship 2026
The ICTP South American Institute for Fundamental Research (ICTP-SAIFR) is pleased to announce the opening of a FAPESP Science Journalism Fellowship at level JC II. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing and editing videos about ICTP-SAIFR activities in both English and Portuguese, for publication in online platforms and social media (Instagram, Twitter/X, etc.).
The fellowship, funded by FAPESP (www.fapesp.br/47), has an initial duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension for up to 24 months. For JC II, the monthly stipend is R$3,270.00 (tax-free) and the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree.
Applicants need to apply online and submit their CV, respond to a short questionnaire, and provide an edited version of a 6-minute interview which would be appropriate for posting on Instagram. The unedited video of the interview and instructions are available here.
